My passion, after my family of course, is Treasure Hunting. The simple beauty of things from by-gone eras have always spoken to me. Whether these treasures are found at a flea market, fine antique store, estate sale, thrift shop, or in the family attic, surprises abound.
As an interior designer, I believe it is vital to balance your decor by including found and family treasures. Surrounding yourself with things you love should always be the goal, from there you will find your true style.
As I shop, I may have a client in mind or I may want to resell at our french flea market or in my shop. I am lucky to have several outlets for my treasures including my own home! I plan to share my searching, hunting, travels, and treasures with you and encourage you to enjoy adding your treasures to your home.

Treasures & Vintage Louis Vuitton

With coffee in hand and The Beatles on the radio we hit the road early today. Excited to start our first treasure hunt of the new year knowing anything is possible.
This was the first time I came across such a beautiful collection of vintage and contemporary Louis Vuitton at the flea market. Although a tiny bit outside todays budget, I was tempted to blow the budget and start 2012 off with a bang but I maintained my composure and instead decided to make a contact for future purchases.
I found charming silver pieces. I love toast racks for displaying antique post cards at Le Potager and for my cards and letters at home. Silver tea strainers are always popular at our Paris Flea Market.
I love European style market totes. They have become very popular. We have been lucky enough to buy bolts of this style of fabric and my dear friend creates wonderful bags for us.
Our treasure hunting on this spectacular California January morning was very successful, bringing home several silver pieces, a beautiful Parian pitcher and a couple vintage French alligator purses.
I am looking forward to our Paris Flea Market in April and will continue to look for treasures for that and the shop as well. Happy New Year and happy treasure hunting.
